Contract Administrator


The Contract Administrator will report to and work closely with the Contracts and Compliance Manager and will be responsible for reviewing and redlining incoming documents, working with the Contracts and Compliance Manager on non-standard contracts, and performing general administrative tasks to facilitate the contracting process. A successful Contract Administrator will a be highly detail-oriented self-starter with demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges, respond efficiently, and remain flexible when dealing with changing priorities and multiple tasks. The ability to be highly confidential and maintain professional discretion with sensitive information is also essential for this role.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare and review new contracts for sales and purchases
  • Monitor and track changes; route for review and negotiation
  • Understand and interpret the services being offered within our agreements or know who to contact if there are questions
  • Assist in the development of new and maintenance of existing agreement templates
  • Maintain an online repository of customer agreement meta data
  • Analyze and report on specific risks associated with contracts
  • Generate reports on the current status of existing agreements
  • Work with the Sales team to answer Customer questionnaires
  • Utilize the RFPIO application to improve contract response time
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of an online repository of approved contract language

Other Duties:

  • Provide ongoing administrative support for contracts team
  • Help develop SLA response time process
  • Be accountable for response times to contract requests
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal sales team
  • Provide ongoing support relating to contracts questions from internal teams
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in contract negotiation and redlining, preferably at a Software/SaaS company
  • 1-2 years of experience redlining MSA’s, DPA’s, or SaaS contracts
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Knowledge and Skills

  • Advanced written and verbal English communication skills
  • Familiarity of the legal requirements involved in SaaS contracts and an ability to review complex legal language
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to notice errors
  • Strong sense of personal initiative and excellent time management ability
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Able to work independently
  • Reliable, trustworthy and able to maintain the confidentiality of information
