Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant processes daily transaction to ensure the accounting records are accurate and complete to facilitate financial reporting. This role is also responsible for processing bank, customer billing and general journal transaction, as well as assisting with financial audits, tax return preparation, and supporting foreign entity consultants.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare journal entries to record daily entries
  • Responsible for the monthly closing process including account reconciliations, allocation-calculations, and balance sheet detailed supporting analysis
  • Review transactions, account reconciliations, and internal controls to ensure accurate transaction recognition
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate with account executives regarding contract details
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and internal/external accounting data requests
  • Prepare and send customer invoices
  • Document recurring issues and work with the cross-functional teams to identify root causes and resolution
  • Reconcile bank accounts monthly
  • Lead team to reconcile exit ARR on an ongoing basis, and report results on company tracking board

Other Duties:

  • Assist with 2020 Budget and Forecast development and ongoing forecasting
  • Update weekly customer report
  • Manages collection accounts
  • Coordinate cross-border transfers
  • Prepare and provide commission calculations
  • Identifies out-of-process transactions and works with management on the accounting team to resolve
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in accounting, with bank reconciliation experience (technology industry preferred)
  • Experience with Quickbooks and SaaSOptics

  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to remain focused in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Highly proficient with MS Office Suite
